Kinesiologists incorporate elements of OMT (Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy) as part of larger muscular and skeletal goals. They have access to accredited continuing education on structure and function. Variation in licensure may limit scope of practice and ability to work on certain aspects of myofunctional therapy which is why we offer a team approach to treatment in these cases (e.g. Concerns around speech clarity, dysphagia/swallowing, and pediatric feeding disorders).
They can provide myofascial release and manual adjustment including that for TMJD and Facial Pain. Those providers who specialize in infant and toddler development are permitted, with limited scope, to work on oral dysfunction.

from St. Cloud State University in 2010 with a Master of Science in Communication Disorders.
She is the founder and owner of SPOT Speech Pathology & Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.
Lindsay has 12+ years of clinical experience in the education setting as a school based SLP,
serving culturally and linguistically diverse populations. After her third child was born with a

Tongue Thrust therapy, Oral Habit elimination, Tongue tie, and how this all relates back to
speech clarity and holistic wellness. Lindsay is in the process of working towards a SAC (Speech

to identify areas of need within our current health and education systems and to help to improve
